Demonstrations and Peaceful Assembly
Demonstrations or peaceful assemblies must be registered with the Events Office at least 48 hours in advance and must follow standard space reservation procedures. Demonstrations or peaceful assemblies must comply with the established Standards of Student Conduct.
All parties participating in demonstrations must abide by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the ordinances of the City of Richmond or the County of Henrico as applicable.
The following staff/administration will receive notification of demonstration or peaceful assembly:
- University Police
- University Communications
- President's Office
- VP for Student Development
