Conference Services

Meet at UR!

We look forward to working with you to plan a meeting, clinic, event, or conference at the University of Richmond. We provide outside guests and event planners with a "One Stop Shop" for your meeting and conference needs:

  • One contact to secure all University services
  • One contract that covers all services received from the University
  • One bill (itemized) for all services provided by the University

  • Locations

    The University of Richmond campus offers a wide variety of locations from which to choose as a venue for your conference.

  • Food Services

    Our catering department produces spectacular events and creative menus. The professional management team will work with you and your budget to create memorable moments for your guests.

    Our award-winning dining services offers a wide variety of choices for on-campus dining.

  • Signage

    The conference office will order signs to direct participants to areas such as registration, housing, and events. These signs can be designed to include your organization’s logo. Ten signs are provided through your conference contract. Conference services will work with the conference director to determine the total number of signs required at the cost of $3.80 per sign. Charges will be applied to your final invoice.

  • Odyssey High Ropes Course

    Programs include energizer activities, ground level team challenges, and one or more levels on the High Ropes Course itself. Programs are designed to fit each individual group. Prices range from $30-$45/per participant, depending on the type of program and the number of participants. Groups can contact University of Richmond Manager of Adventure & Leadership, Jake Reiman at jreiman@richmond.edu with any questions. The Odyssey High Ropes Course is run by Challenge Discovery, which is a separate company. Odyssey Course programs are scheduled and billed separately from the University’s camp/conference contract.   • Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness

    Groups can receive access to the Recreational Facilities for Groups can receive access to the Recreational Facilities for $5.00/person/day with pre-registration or $10.00/person/day for walk up access. Facilities include: gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, natatorium, strength equipment, cardio equipment and jogging track. A final list of names to be used to produce passes is due fifteen (15) days to mtomlin@richmond.edu prior to the start of an event. Passes will be distributed with packages through the Events, Conferences and Support Services Office.
